This weekend the Board of Elections partnered with West Park Elim Church to host Tu Decides Dos (You Decide Two). We had a great time getting to know some of the voters in this community while answering their questions about the election process and registering them to vote in the upcoming elections.
This event which featured live music and guest speakers celebrated democracy and the importance of voting. Community leader, Jose Feliciano especially urged members of the Hispanic community to stand up for their beliefs and vote in the upcoming elections.
Pat McDonald, Director, and Ivelisse Roig, Bilingual Election Program Coordinator of the Board of Elections provided an overview of the election process and the many resources available to voters, including early voting hours, voting by mail, and VoterNotify.
