Voters in six cities will go to the polls for the September 12, 2017 Primary Election. Be aware that the voter registration deadline is August 14th. If you haven’t heard, Ohioans may now register to vote online and/or update their name and address if they moved since having last voted. Visit myohiovote.com to register to vote.

Here are the municipalities in the Election:
- Bay Village: City Council for Wards 2, 3 and 4 only
- Cleveland: Mayor and Council Wards 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, and 17; In Ward 7, Precinct L there is a local liquor option on the ballot.
- East Cleveland: Mayor
- Maple Heights: President of City Council
- North Olmsted: City Council Ward 2 only
- Solon: Mayor
Early Voting
If your city is included in the election, you don’t have to wait until September 12th to vote. Early voting at the Board of Elections begins on August 15th and will occur during the following times.
Weekdays, August 15, 2017 – September 1, 2017 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Weekdays, September 4, 2017 – September 8, 2017 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 9, 2017 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 10, 2017 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, September 11, 2017 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Voting by Mail
As always, voting by mail is another option for busy people. You may go to our website to print a ballot application our use our website tool to request an application and one will be mailed to you by the Board. The Board will also mail you an application if you call us and make that request. The phone number is 216-443-VOTE (8683).
